Camera feed
We LiveStream the HD camera feeds with audio over the internet with just 0,2 second latency. In case of multi-camera setups we split the image on our side so the viewer dont have to do anything. The feed can be viewed on a password protected page on our site with any device, even with compatible smart TVs in the browser (the passwords are sent out via email prior shooting)
We use SSL encryption for securing the video feed. We can also put custom watermarks provided by the client on the image.
On top of these we also use secure VPN internet connections on set.
Optional: optionally we can set up a "witness camera" on set to spectate the whole set even if the shooting cameras moving or changing lens etc. We can put this picture in the Stream picture or in the Zoom meeting as a participant (Zoom is more practical, we recommend that)
Communication
For conferencing we organize a Zoom meeting for the remote clients/producers with different Rooms depending on the needs of the actual project. We provide iPads on set close to the director or 1st AD connected to the same Zoom meeting so the crew can stay connected and react to instructions or comments as fast as possible
Optional: optionally we can send the camera picture or the witness camera picture in the Zoom meeting as a participant but the quality of this is lower than the dedicated LiveStream due to Zoom's limitations which is usually not a problem for witness camera but can be for a shooting camera where the details matter
Additional remote workflow applications
Qtake Cloud / Qtake Server
Qtake Cloud is a remote workflow solution integrated into Qtake video assist software. It is fully synced with the video assist station and offers additional capabilities such as metadata integration and independent clip viewing ( The clips can be replayed independently on the client side even when the operator is offline )
Limitations: Only works on apple devices and the price is significantly higher due to the additional server and licence
Moxion
Moxion is a Live Dailies service provided by a 3rd party. Their server sync all the clips automatically with the video assist station and makes an organized directory with all the metadata. The clients can browse and view the clips any time in the browser or their iOS/Android application.
